Marcella "Marcy" Maddox, 93, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021. She was born in Pennsylvania on December 8, 1927 to the late Joseph and Stella Havlock. Marcy married Gene Maddox in 1948, the couple moved to Fort Wayne and had 68 years of marriage. They were members of St. Joseph Methodist Church. Marcy is survived by sons, Darrell (Susan) Maddox of Ohio, and Scott (Marilyn) Maddox of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kyle (Maura) Maddox, Audrey (Thomas) Doak, Grant (Erin) Maddox all of Ohio, Riley Maddox at Purdue West Lafayette; great-grandchildren, Lily, Delaney, Luke Maddox, Ohio; sister, Patricia Landman, of Pennsylvania; many nieces and nephews; and also caring neighbors, the Love Family. Marcy was preceded in death by her husband; and two brothers. Service is 1pm on Monday, July 19 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, with visitation two hours prior beginning at 11am. Burial is at Highland Park Cemetery.
