Marcella Kensill, age 81, of Fort Wayne passed away to heaven on May 20, 2022. She was born October 8, 1940 in Pierceton, IN to the late Keith and Frances Park. Marcella was a prayer warrior and loved Gospel music and a member of Three Rivers Wesleyan Church. She retired July 31, 2020 after 13 years as a caregiver for Comfort Keepers and previously she worked 27 years at Supermarket Service. Marcella is survived by her sons, Larry, Richard (Barb) of Fort Wayne and Douglas (Kyla) of Churubusco, IN; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Kohler of Savannah, GA, Ruth (Harold) Chester of Howe, IN, and Judy Pitser of Fort Wayne; and brother, Curtis (Sharon) Park of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Kensill; son, Gary Kensill; brothers, Irving Park and Darrell Park, and brother-in-law, Charlie Kohler. Service is 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling three hours prior beginning at 10:00 am.
