Mackenzie Marie Hoover, age 18, passed away Friday, September 24th, 2021 at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to Tyler Hoover of Fort Wayne and Kaylia (nee Dockery) Park of Fort Wayne. Mackenzie had a contagious smile and loved Facetime, music, horses, camping, and babysitting her cousin, Lewis. She is also survived by her brothers, Issac, Trixsan, Preston, and Connor; paternal grandparents, Dale and Deb Hoover of Fort Wayne; maternal grandmother, Sarah Dockery of Fort Wayne; great-grandparents, Clarence and Carol Greaf of Knoxville, TN; great-grandfather, George Dockery of Fort Wayne; uncles, Derek (Adam) Hoover of Fort Wayne, and Bryan (Megan) Hoover of Fort Wayne; and her basset hound, Copper. Mackenzie was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Dockery. Service is 10:30 am, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling one hour prior. Calling also 5:00pm - 8:00pm, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the funeral home.
