Obituary

Lyndsy Jean Bolton, 44, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of Robert and Yvonne (Selders) Beeke.
A lifelong advocate for others, Lyndsy graduated from Plainwell High School and earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University. She dedicated her career to healing as a therapist at Crosswinds Counseling and as the Director of Utilization Management for Northern Path Recovery Center. Her innate gift for empathy and her remarkable compassion left a lasting impact on everyone she served.

Describing Lyndsy is like trying to capture a tempest in a parachute; her passion for life was a force of nature. As a fierce and devoted mother, she was the foundation for her four children: Meg, Sommer, Kate, Grant, and three step-children: Taylor, Nicolas, and Abigail. Whether offering late-night wisdom, providing comfort, or dancing through the kitchen, her exuberant personality filled their home with light. She found joy in gardening, baking with her children, caring for the family pets, and traveling, but her greatest passion was the deep, intentional relationships she fostered with those she loved.

Lyndsy is survived by her husband, David Bolton. In their five grateful years together, they were inseparable from the moment they met. From their very first brunch date, they shared a rare and profound love that words cannot fully quantify. They were soulmates who traveled the world together, sharing a love for culture, food, and a simple, daily reminder of their devotion: "I love you," followed by "I love you more".

She is also survived by her six siblings: Shelly (Leo) Cox, Jason Beeke, Marci Goodman, Grechen (Jedd Stoddard) Beeke, Ben (Candace) Beeke, and Steve (Carrie) Beeke. Though spread across the nation, their family remained deeply connected by love across every distance.

A Private Celebration of Lyndsy’s Life will be held to honor her life lived. In honor of her memory, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the National Audubon Society, or the Arbor Day Foundation.

Lyndsy will be forever remembered for her kind heart, nurturing spirit, and the immeasurable love she poured into her family and her community. Arrangements are being handled by FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
