Louella Elizabeth Marks was born to Ada Ruth Davis and Johnny Freeman on December 29, 1957. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Lou, as she was affectionately known, journeyed through this earth with a deep love for God, her children, family, and friends. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved playing bingo and playing spades with family and friends! After obtaining her education in Fort Wayne, she pursued a career in factory work. She worked over 20 years within this field with more than 10 years at Dana Incorporated before retiring. Louella is survived by her children: Katrina Freeman, Regena Hardy, and Gene (Tesha) Hardy, 3 Sisters (Lisa Curry, Michelle Lawrence, and Trisha Davis), and 1 brother (William Greene). She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ada Ruth Davis and Johnny Freeman. She is also preceded in death by a brother - Russel Curry, and a sister – Dedra Stewart. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am located at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street) with visitation on hour prior from 10:00 am until the service.
