, 46, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was born at Columbia City Hospital and grew up in Fort Wayne IN, where she attended Portage High School. Lorie pursued a fulfilling career in the medical field, dedicating her time and care to those in need, a role she found deeply rewarding.
Lorie was known for her kindness and generosity, with a magnetic personality that could brighten any room. Her love for her family was boundless, and one of her greatest joys in life was being a devoted GiGi to her grandson, KyRee. She cherished every moment spent inspiring his creativity, sharing laughter, and making memories together. Lorie was also a loving dog mom to her pit bull, Shilow, who was an integral part of the family.
Lorie leaves behind her beloved son, Trae Kintz, and her cherished grandson, KyRee Kintz. She is survived by her partner, Tyrone Martin; her loving mother, Sandy Lucas; and her siblings: Pamela Patterson (and nieces Veronica, Melody, and Avery), Joseph Kile (niece Anna and nephew William), Michael Kile, Tim Kintz, Laura Schultheis, and Donna Harter. Lorie was preceded in death by her father, Donald Kintz, whose memory she always held close.
Her legacy of love, creativity, and compassion will forever be remembered by those who were blessed to know her.
