Lonny L. Janes, 57, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Lonny was the son of the late Everett "Bud" Janes Sr., and Nancy Janes who survives. Lonny attended New Haven High School. He served our country as an Army veteran. Lonny was a truck driver and a truck mechanic throughout his working career. He enjoyed working on cars, riding his motorcycle, watching football, and racing. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Diane Janes; children, Nicole Sharp, Rachelle (Bryce) Mills, Brooke (Ian) Johnson, Zavier Janes; grandchildren, Kayreana, Jackson; siblings, Pete (Alisha) Janes, Corky (Shirley) Janes, Everett Janes Jr., Robert (Tammy) Janes, Nanci (Amanda) Janes; along with a host of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and so many close friends. Lonny was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Janes, and sister, Mary McDonald. Calling is Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
