Lois J. Walpe, 90, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at The Cedars in Leo, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Harold and Margaret Dimmich and graduated from South Side High School in 1948. Lois worked her entire career in the banking industry primarily working at Wabash Valley Bank and Trust of Peru, IN. She was a past member of the Mexico United Methodist Church of Mexico, IN. Lois is survived by her children, John "Court" (Amy) Walpe of Avon, IN and Tara (Kent) Greer of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Carter and Grace Walpe; and Jackson, Claire, Ava, and Jillian Greer; and brother, Tom (Kay) Dimmich of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Walpe; and her grandson, Davis Greer. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
