Lois Kaufman, 97, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, August 20th 2022. She graduated from Northside High School, class of 1942, and was a proud Redskin. Lois worked as a bookkeeper for area businesses including Magnavox, Patterson Fletchers, and Kunkle Valve. Lois was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church on West Jefferson, in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and also bowling. She was a loving mother to her children and grandchildren and taught life skills that prepared them to be independent members of the community.
Lois is survived by her children, Sharon Wisner, Mike (Mary) Reuille, Steve Reuille, Sandy Setty, and Tom Kaufman; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Kaufman Sr; son, Albert Kaufman Jr.; son in law, Michael Wisner; daughter in law, Connie Reuille; son in law, Raj Setty. The funeral service for Lois will be at 12:30 pm on Friday August 26th with calling beginning at 10:00 am, at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N Clinton St. Burial will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorial may be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
