Lloyd G. Hermance, 91, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022. Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, Lloyd was a son of the late Lloyd E. and Grace Hermance. Lloyd earned his bachelors degree in electronic engineering from Valparaiso Technical Institute, class of 1959. He worked as a project engineer for Magnavox/Raytheon for many years, prior to his retirement in 1993. Lloyd had a passion for animals, enjoyed puzzles, watching Westerns, singing, and tinkering around the house. Anyone who knew Lloyd knew that he loved to joke and get people laughing. Surviving are his sons, Scott Hermance, Gregg (Allison) Hermance and Robin (Laurie) Hermance-Moore; grandchildren Allison Hermance-Moore and Andrew Hermance. Lloyd was preceded by his wife Jacqueline Hermance in 2017; siblings, Donald, Marvin, and Arlene Hermance. Service is 7 pm, Friday, July 29, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 5 pm until the service. Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
