Linda S. Martin, age 71, passed away February 21, 2025 in Fort Wayne, IN.  She was born in Fort Wayne, to the late Myron "Mike" and Helen (Hughes) Martin.   Linda loved her family and many friends.  She was a wonderful aunt and treasured the time she spent with her nieces, laughing and interacting together.

Her love of art and people was seen in her daily life from her years of creating items for the Johnny Appleseed Festival to working alongside others.

Linda graduated with a BA and MA in art and loved using her skills to develop a special program at the FW Senior Citizen Center.  Meeting First Lady, Barbara Bush when she toured her programs was a lasting memory.

She was certified in death and grief studies from the Center of Loss and Transition, and enjoyed working as a care minister.  Her compassion and caring nature was an inspiration to many.

Linda is survived by her siblings, Cindy (Don) Grodrian of Monroeville, IN, and David (Debbie) Martin of Fort Wayne;  nieces, Melissa (Andy) Petras of Fort Wayne, Emily Martin of Muncie, IN, and Natalie (Brendon) McCully of Elyria, OH;  great-nephews and great-niece, Enoch, Nehemiah, and Grace.

Service is 11:00 am, Friday, February 28, 2025 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
