Linda S. Leimer, age 82, of Fort Wayne passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Rupert and Flossie Olinger. Linda worked as a professional seamstress specializing in wedding dresses. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church where she served as the Director of Music. She also enjoyed singing in the Fort Wayne Philharmonic for 15 years. Linda is survived by her husband of 63 years, Walt Leimer; daughter, Jennifer (Rick) Wiegmann; daughter-in-law, Terri Leimer all of Fort Wayne; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Leimer; two brothers and her sister. Service is 11:00 am, Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 8811 St. Joe Rd., with calling one hour prior. Calling also 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the church. Burial at Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church Music Program.
