Linda Brown, age 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024. Linda was a woman who treasured the simple joys of life, especially time spent outdoors. She found happiness in planting flowers, casting a line while fishing, and most of all, watching over her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda's family meant everything to her, and she leaves behind a loving legacy through her daughter, Jody (Larry) Akers; son, Robert (Christina) Brown; daughter, Melissa (Richard) Packard; and son, Ken Brown. Her grandchildren, Michael (Andrea) Akers, Ashley (Matt) Akers, Carl (San) Akers, Kayla (James) Lowe, Kimberly, and Samantha, William and Christopher; as well as her great-grandchildren, Daryk, Arianna, Edison, Lucas, Maiya, Elliot, Matthew, and Skylynn, will always hold her memory close in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Russell, with whom she shared many wonderful years.
A memorial service for Linda will take place on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m., at FairHaven Funeral Home, located at 6557 N. Clinton St. in Fort Wayne.
