Lina Tran passed away on January 1, 2024. On February 23, 2001, Lina was born to Vietnamese parents Khang Tran and Phon La. She was raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she attended Northrop High School. At Northrop, Lina participated in show choir and eventually went on to become the Valedictorian of her graduating class.
A graduate of Indiana University, Lina was studying for a masters at IUPUI and aspired to be a medical doctor. It was evident from a young age that Lina always wanted to help people. Known for her caring ways, she would never hesitate to help and find ways to make the world a better place. Outside of her career goals, Lina was interested in baking pastries, watching animated shows/movies, watching Korean dramas, listening to Blackpink, and being artistically creative- taking photographs/videos, creating clay figures, and "doing" nails. Lina loved exploring new cities and enjoyed hanging out with friends and family. She had an aura that made everyone around her happier. Lina is survived by her mother, father, and her younger sister, Annie.
