Like Bedada, 80, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. She was born in Shewa, Ethiopia on May 18, 1942 to the late Bedada Robi and Werke Shaka. Like was a member of St. Nicholas Cathedral. She retired from the State Developmental Center. Like enjoyed cooking, feeding people, and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.

Like is survived by her daughters, Birke Bedada, Mekedes Alebachew and her husband, Eric Tubbs, and Fasica Lee and her husband, James Lee; grandchildren, Jeveil Lee, Yohanes Lee, Mattheos Lee, Mahelat Lee, Ashley Tubbs, Shakim Tubbs, Tamiru Tubbs and Angel Tubbs; sister, Atsedu Bedada and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Paulos Tekeste; niece, Egigayu Bedada; two brothers and one sister.

Funeral service will be on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at St. Nicholas Cathedral (3535 Crescent Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). Burial will follow the service to Concordia Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a meal at church.
