Leanne Lynn Gonzalez, age 45, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on May 5, 2025. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Leanne brought light, laughter, and love to everyone who knew her. A 1998 graduate of Northrop High School, Leanne pursued her passion for justice and earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She dedicated many years of her professional life to the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) and Allen County Community Corrections (ACCC), and was most recently serving as an Asset Protection Manager for Amazon. Leanne lived life boldly and without regret. A spirited adventurer, she found peace and joy in travel, nature, and the simple beauty of wind in her hair or sand between her toes. Her laughter was loud and contagious, her smile wide and warm, and her heart overflowing with unconditional love. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Alexis Hopkins and Adriana Gonzalez; cherished grandsons, Jaxon Juillerat and Archer H.; her mother, Victoria Burdon; her brothers, Nick Hausbach and Brandon Whitehurst; her sister, Lori Nash; and many loving nieces and nephews. Leanne was preceded in death by her father, Robie C. Hopkins, and her nephew, Matthew Robert Hausbach. A memorial to celebrate Leanne's beautiful life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1:00pm with visitation beginning at 10am until service time, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
