Laurie Ann Theetge, 62, of Ft Wayne, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, friendship, and cherished memories. Born to the late Paul and Francis Martin, Laurie spent her life spreading joy, laughter, and kindness to all those around her.
Laurie had a deep love for nature and animals, and you could often find her planting flowers and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. Known for her spirited and ornery personality, she was a social butterfly who brightened the lives of many with her warmth and sense of humor. Above all, Laurie loved and cherished her daughters, who were the light of her life.
Laurie spent over 20 years working at Michael Ray's and Carol's Too, where she formed lasting relationships and was a valued member of the team. Most recently, she worked at Pilot Flying J's truck stop in New Haven, where she made countless friends who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Jessica (Bill) Schmitt and Nicole (Chris) Strong, as well as her siblings, Katherine (Steve Nelson) Hanna and Paul (Catherine) Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Francis Ward.
