Laurie Ellen Fortman, 58, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from cancer. She was happy at the thought of going to be with God. Laurie is survived by her loving cat, Julia; father, Phil (Barbara) Fortman; siblings, Bob (Marie) Fortman, Jamie (Amber) Drake, and Beth (Adam) Hamilton; nieces and nephews, Bobby, Cat, Jessica, Aaron, Lucas, Sofia, Leila, and Sam; and extended family. Laurie was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Hamilton. The family requests that memorials be made to The Carriage House, where Laurie found regular support and companionship.
