Laura “June” Dalrymple, 98, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday March 10th, 2026. June was born in East Lansing, Michigan, was raised on the family farm and lived most of her adult life in Michigan and Florida. June was a world traveler. June loved to host parties, especially at Christmas. She loved to dance, and she loved playing cards and games with friends and family. June worked at Macy’s and loved shopping there and going to the theater. In quieter moments she enjoyed camping and quilting. June’s most cherished times were spent with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a peacekeeper who was full of kindness and generosity. June was fiercely independent and a strong woman who had a goal to make one person laugh each day. She was very proud of her job with Lansing Public Schools supporting adult education.

June is survived by her children, Linn (Amber Zainfeld) Dalrymple, Pamela (Kenneth) Beemer, Raymond (Cathy) Dalrymple; grandkids, Lindsey (Craig) Stangland, Hillary (Seth) Meyer, Bradley Dalrymple; great grandkids, Adilinn, Elliana, Andrew, Faith, Eden, and Jonah; siblings, Doris Meredith, Viola Burcham, and Gary Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Jane Dalrymple; grandson, Christopher Beemer; and sister, Erma Holton.

A funeral service for June will take place on Friday March 13, 2026 at 12 pm with visitation beginning 2 hours prior at 10am all at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St.

Preferred memorials may be directed to Stillwater Hospice or Blood Cancer United.
