Larry G. Williams, 82, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024. Born in Wabash, Indiana, Larry was a son of the late Lawrence and Marjorie (Rubsam-Marks) Williams. Larry served our country proudly while service in the Indiana National Guard. During Larry's working years he spent a majority of it working as a type setter for the Catholic paper and Fort Wayne Newspapers. Larry transitioned to later working for ITT Aerospace prior to his retirement. Larry was a devout Catholic. He traveled several times overseas to see and learn more about the Catholic faith and their doctrine. Surviving are his children; Aaron (Sally) Williams, Kelly (Robert) Schenkel; grandchildren, Hunter Schenkel, Sophie Williams; siblings, Barbara Clark, Ann Knoll, Keith (Kileen) Williams, Dee (John) Smith, Jean (Larry) Mottweiler, Karol (Paul) Strader; sister-in-law, Cynthia Chesterman; along with many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his son, Scott Williams; and brother, Jim Chesterman. A Graveside Services with Army Honors will be 10:30 am, Monday, May 20, 2024 at Hoverstock Cemetery in Zanesville, Indiana.
