Larry E. Satterthwaite, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023. He was born to the late Lawrence F. and Mary M. (Paul) Satterthwaite on November 6, 1938 in Fort Wayne. Larry graduated from South Side High School in 1957. He was a veteran of the US Army. Larry retired from Navistar after a life-long career. He was a member of the American Legion Post 241.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Tim) Winchester of Huntertown; son, Michael (Donna) Satterthwaite of Bluffton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, B. Elaine Satterthwaite and one grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 3:30 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation beginning at 1:30 pm until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 241.
