Larry R. Nichols, 78, passed away October 29, 2026, in New Haven, Indiana. He was born in Greencastle, IN to the late Bob and Anne Nichols.

Larry served his country as a Vietnam veteran in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing softball and golfing with his friends and was a huge Purdue fan.

Larry is survived by his three children, Craig Nichols, Derek Nichols, and Christy Naylor; grandchildren, Antonia Wilson, Max Nichols, Myah Walda, Devin Naylor, Isabella Nichols, Gabriella Naylor, Isaac Nichols, Alexander Naylor, Christian Naylor, and Ivan Nichols; and five great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Nichols.

A graveside service and burial will take place at Concordia Cemetery Gardens on Tuesday at 11:30 am. Family and friends are welcome to arrive anytime between 11 am to 11:30 for the graveside service.
