Kim E. Newport, 68, beloved Husband, father, grandfather and Great grandfather passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016. Born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Kim was the only son of Kenneth and Edna Newport. He was a self-employed carpenter and made many beautiful pieces.

He is Survived by his loving wife, Elaine Newport of Ft. Wayne, two sons; Thomas (Kendall) Clark and Brent (Heather) Newport, two daughters, Leslie (Tate) Cook and Tammy (Scott) Davis. Seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son Christopher Newport.

A funeral service will be Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral home 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. at Fairhaven funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton St. Fort Wayne, IN. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials to Catholic Charities, or Catholic Education fund at Our lady of Good Hope Church. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery Ft. Wayne.
