Kevin Paul Knepper peacefully passed away into the arms of his Lord, early Monday morning, October 27th, at Parkview Hospital. He was 67 and lived in Fort Wayne, IN, all of his life. Kevin enjoyed collecting, freshwater and exotic fish, home brewing in his younger years, cooking and was a movie buff. He was a proud father, who talked about his children's accomplishments. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Kevin was born to Janet V. and Robert L. Knepper on February 14, 1958. He attended Emmanuel-St. Michael Lutheran Grade School. He graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1977. Kevin graduated from IUPUFW with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a Systems Engineer and in his career, he worked for Magnavox, Raytheon, and General Dynamics. In 1978, while going to University, Kevin worked for Belmont Department Store, where he met Marla A. Amstutz. They married on February 1980, and they had two children who survive him, Jacquelyn R. Beemer (Nate R.) and Jonathan R. Knepper (Kara). The marriage to Marla ended in divorce after 31 years. Kevin has four grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Ronald A. Knepper; Karen L. Bickhart (Gregory) and Kathryn S. Zenerovitz (Anthony). Kevin was preceded in death by his parents. Private visitation and funeral services will be held for Kevin.
