Kevin Briggs, 47, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center after a long battle with multiple myeloma. He was born to Rebecca (Kienzler) Jacks and the late Steven A. Briggs on February 9, 1977 in Kendallville, IN. He graduated from Churubusco High School in 1995. He loved the New York Yankees, collecting guns, going to the shooting range, cooking and trying new recipes. Kevin loved to sit down with his bourbon and whiskey while listening to music. The true friendships he made over the years were so important to him. He was always there for his friends and family. He would do anything for them and he could fix anything with his knowledge.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Erica Briggs; proud father to his children, Allison (Andrew) Myers and Alexander Briggs; step-children, Trevor, Blake, and Chloe; mother and step-father, Rebecca and William Jacks; and his buddies, Beau and Oliver.

A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
