Kent L. Green's Obituary
Kent L. Green, 64, of Leo, went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2025. He was born to Carolyn (Roth) Green and the late Donald Green on October 19, 1960 in Fort Wayne. Kent graduated from Taylor University Fort Wayne with his bachelor's degree. Kent was ordained as a minister in the Missionary Church. He retired from Parkview as a Chaplain. Kent was very passionate in his faith and loved the Lord. He was a member of Northpoint Community Church. Kent deeply adored his family, enjoyed coffee, playing guitar and worship music.
Kent is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Barb; children, Samantha (Justin) Woods and their children, Sarah, Juliana, Justin Jr. and Matt (Elexis) Green and their children, Hunter and Weston; mother, Carolyn Green; siblings, Beth (Tom) Bussen and Troy (Cindy) Green; and a host of relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Northpoint Community Church (10513 Leo Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). Burial will be at Leo Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
