Kenneth (Ken) Boeslund, age 74, passed away in his home Saturday July 6, 2024. He was born September 18, 1949, in Ogden, Utah, to Norman & Gwen (Marshall) Boeslund. He married the love of his life, Kathy, in October of 1975 and was the proud father to his two daughters CJ and Sarah.

Ken was "Papa Bear" to everyone who knew him. He always had a warm welcoming smile and a hug that could cure all worries. Growing up in Utah, Ken had a passion for God's natural beauty, from the mountains and streams to the wildlife and dark starry nights. His interests included classic cars, hot rods and anything fast. He loved all animals including his many grandfurs.

Ken is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy (Maddux) Boeslund; Daughters, CJ Boeslund and Sarah Doctor; Sister, Norma (John) Marriott; Brother, Richard Boeslund; Granddaughter, Cora (Takoda) Kissinger.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Norman & Gwen Boeslund; in-laws Nathan & Ruth (Miller) Maddux, grandparents; and his son-in-law Brent Doctor.

Friends and Family will be received from 3:00-5:00 pm, Saturday July 13, 2024, with service following at 5:00pm at FairHaven Funeral Home in Fort Wayne, 6557 N. Clinton St, Fort Wayne, In 46825.
