Kenn Van Der Weele, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022. Kenn was born in Argos, Indiana the son of the late Gene and Mary Alice Van Der Weele. Kenn graduated from Argos High School and International Business College. He and Cheryl married March 9, 1969. Kenn served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates after 35 years as Executive Director. He was a member of the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators. Kenn loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them and attending all of their activities. He was a Notre Dame football fan an IU basketball fan, and a Fort Wayne Komet fan. He and Cheryl enjoyed cruising, visiting wineries, going to movies and playing euchre. Kenn is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cheryl; sons, Brad (Jordan), Jeff (Michelle); grandchildren, Haley (Kyle) Nei, Tyler Van Der Weele, Alyssa Van Der Weele, Emily Van Der Weele, and Calan Van Der Weele; great-grandchildren, Trinity Nei, Jayce Nei, Ivy Van Der Weele; sister, Kay Davis; along with several nieces and nephews. Calling is Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. Private Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
