Kelly K. "Moose/ Big Mac" Rainey's Obituary
Kelly K. "Moose/ Big Mac" Rainey, 63, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born to Chere (Hensley) Stirlen-Heck and the late William Robert Rainey on April 11, 1962 in Fort Wayne. She graduated from Wayne High School. Kelly was a member of the Moose Lodge. She worked for Hattersley and Sons and was a home healthcare aide for several years. She loved animals, especially her beloved pets.
Kelly is survived by her mother, Chere (John Heck) Stirlen-Heck; siblings, Christine Rainey, William Rainey Jr., and Mickey (Sandra) Rainey; uncles, Harmon (Jennifer) Hensley and Curtis (Jan) Rainey; and friend, Zach Ertel. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth and Harmon Hensley; uncle, Brian Hensley and girlfriend, Rhonda Tagtmeyer.
A memorial service will be on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation one hour prior.
Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
