Tribute to an incredible man.
My husband, Companion, best friend, lover, and father,
Keith L. Kelso, stepped into glory @4:30 A.M. Wednesday,
2023. to meet his Saviour and King.
Keith's eyes are upon Yeshua,
He's looking full into His wonderful Face.
All the things of earth are all fully dim,
He's welcomed by The Lord of glory and grace.
The heavens rejoiced at his homecoming and heaven
became brighter because this precious servant is home as the
earth became dim at his passing.
Keith's parents welcomed him into this world July 23rd of 1935.
He was raised on the farm in St Paul, IN .
His folks moved to Plainfield to another farm.
He was in Future Farmers of America and later Lane drafting College.
A typical boy growing up with 3 sisters and a brother.
Ornery but always a quiet gentle spirit. Hard working his
whole life and so well loved and liked by all who knew him.
He later joined the Army and was Honorably discharged
after serving with the rank of E4.
He worked various jobs until permanent employment of 34 years at Zollner Corporation.
Keith met and married Rita Green after a whirlwind courtship in 1963.
They had two children, Alan and Crista.
Keith was a great dad as both his children will attest to.
He enjoys the grand and great-grands as well.
Keith loved a good joke. Sometimes we would laugh till
the tears flowed. He liked to play jokes often with the
presents he made.
He designed a logos in wood. Even made one for our son's cat.
He liked Wii bowling and golf. Had hundreds, no
exaggeration, hundreds of perfect games.
He is a wood worker extraordinaire. Keith has graced his
family and friends with priceless works of art such as
mantle clocks, wooden butterflys and so much more too numerous to mention.
A wildlife enthusiast. Kept those bird feeders full.
Kept an impeccable yard and even was awarded a yard of the month.
Bowling trophies grace the den.
Took long walks in the park with our daughter, zip lined once.
Keith had great wisdom and shared it. He was a humble
gentle man of impeccable integrity.
It would take a book to due justice to this man.
He was the love of his bride's life and cherished with love
by his children, family and friends.
Keith is survived by his wife, Rita Kelso, of 60 years,
