Obituary

Keaton Antonio Whitman

Our precious six-month-old son, the light in our eyes, left us to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

Keaton was born April 29, 2025.  He was the first and only child of Kendall and Demi Whitman. Keaton was loved immensely from the moment we learned of his coming to the very last second of his beautiful life.

Keaton loved cuddle time, and his dad joyfully called him and his mom "two bugs in a rug." Once he was up and awake, he wore a constant, big, and open smile that could brighten any room. Keaton had a hilarious "fear of missing out" — he always wanted to be part of whatever was happening and see the world around him. He loved joining his parents on walks, always facing outward so he could take everything in.

Even at such a young age, Keaton was advanced in all his developmental skills. He always seemed to think and want to be bigger than he was. Keaton was very vocal and always on the move, full of energy and curiosity. He especially loved watching and being around other kids, his bright eyes following them with wonder and excitement.

Keaton and his dad enjoyed watching the Reds and Notre Dame games together, moments that brought great joy to his father's heart. His grandparents were proud to call him their grandson and cherished every minute they spent with him.

Keaton was baptized at St. Charles Borromeo Church on October 26, 2025. His short life was a radiant gift from God, and the love he gave will remain with us forever.

Surviving are his mom and dad, Kendall and Demi Whitman; grandparents, Shane (Mayleen) Brinker, Denise Whitman, Mark Whitman; great-grandparents, Thomas (Marilyn) Brinker, Carmen Hernandez, Carolyn Whitman; aunts and uncles, Dominic Brinker, Deniro (Halie) Brinker, Colin (Jamie) Whitman, Benjamin (Heidi) Whitman, Mackenzie (Austin) Eltzroth; along with many cousins.  Keaton was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Angel Alfonso Ramos, Earl Whitman, Denny and Betty Armey.
