Kathy L. Hackworth, age 54, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Atlanta, GA to Thomas Billions, who survives of Kingston Springs, TN and the late Gail Billions. She graduated from Paul Blazer High School of Ashland, KY. Kathy was the owner and operator of Once Upon A Child for over 21 years and Rachel's Ribbons. She will be remembered as a caring wife and mother who loved supporting her sons in baseball and also loved animals. Kathy is also survived by her husband of 28 years, Daryl Hackworth; sons, Ben (Morgan) Hackworth and Ryan Hackworth both of Fort Wayne; siblings, Karen (Larry) Kloess, Mark Billions, and Shelly (David) Spradlin; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Billions. Service is 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling three hours prior beginning at 4:00 pm. A graveside service is 11:00 am on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3801 13th St. Ashland, KY, 41102.
