Kathryn "Kathy" Boeslund, age 75, passed away on November 27, 2024. She was born April 5, 1949 in Bluffton, IN to Nathan & Ruth (Miller) Maddux. She married the love of her life, Ken, in October of 1975 and was the proud mother of her daughters, CJ and Sarah.

Kathy had a servant's heart and a soul for the mistreated, broken and outcasts.

Her passion in life was helping others. Kathy worked in different capacities with individuals with developmental disabilities for over 40 years. Ultimately opening her own companies. In addition, she volunteered for many years as a CASA for children in the court system. Her love didn't stop with human life but extended to all of God's creations and she truly cherished her time with her many fur babies and grand furbabies.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, CJ Boeslund and Sarah Doctor; sisters, Marna Endicott and Gay Isaksen and granddaughter, Cora Kissinger.

Kathy was reunited in death with her husband of 48 years, Ken Boeslund; parents, Nathan & Ruth (Miller) Maddux; sister, Diana Captain; in-laws Norman & Gwen Boeslund; grandparents; and son-in-law, Brent Doctor

Friends and family will be received from 4:00-6:00 pm, Saturday December 7, 2024, with service following at 6:00pm at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
