Kathleen "Kathi" Lansky, 73, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kathi was the daughter of the late Carroll and Catherine (Chandler) Spridgeon. She graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School and earned her degree to become and R.N. from St. Joseph School of Nursing. During her working years, Kathi was a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed shopping and might have been in the running for the most Vera Bradley Purses owned by a person. She had an eye for style and decorating. She loved her nieces dearly and cherished her many cousins. Surviving are her brother, Scott (Lori) Spridgeon; nieces, Olivia (Landon) Sell, Natalie (Kyle Reichert) Spridgeon; along with many cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Schwarze; second husband, Marc Lansky; and daughter, Amy Schwarze. A Celebration of Kathi's Life will be Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Goeglein's Homestead, 7311 Maysville Road, from 1 pm to 4 pm. Memorials may be made to Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana.
