Kathleen Hunnicutt, 51, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home. She was born in Chicago Heights, IL to the late Patrick and Jill Carpenter. Kathleen worked as a licensed social worker where she focused on the care of children. She befriended many, gifting others with her strength and wisdom to face challenges. Kathleen was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church where she was very active in a variety of church ministries. She is survived by her husband, Todd Hunnicutt of Fort Wayne; children, Joe Hunnicutt and Julia Hunnicutt of Fort Wayne; siblings, Patrick (Jen) Carpenter of Springfield, MO and Colleen (Todd Campbell) Carpenter of Fort Wayne; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am on Monday, December 28, 2020 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Rd. with calling beginning at 9:00 am.
