Katherine Lynn Diehm, 69, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Katherine was a daughter of the late Von and Vivian (Ross) Snyder. She graduated from South Side High School and later earned her Associate Degree in Behavioral Health from (college name).
Throughout her working years, Katherine dedicated herself to caring for others as a Qualified Medication Aide, serving residents in several nursing homes throughout the area. She approached her work with compassion and kindness, always striving to make a difference in the lives of those entrusted to her care.
Katherine married the love of her life, Robert Diehm, and together they shared 44 years of marriage filled with love, devotion, and countless memories. She lived a simple life and found joy in life's everyday blessings. Katherine enjoyed taking walks, spending time outdoors, and embracing the quiet moments that brought her peace. More than anything, she treasured her family. Whether sharing conversations, celebrating special occasions, or simply being together, the time she spent with those she loved meant the world to her.
Those who knew Katherine will remember her gentle spirit, caring heart, and the love she so freely gave to her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Diehm; son, Jeremy Milage; grandchildren, Breanna Merriman and Andrew Milage; two siblings; and several extended family members and friends.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Von and Vivian Snyder.
Calling will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 5 pm to 7 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
