Karen Diane Wegman, 63, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Born in Avilla, Karen was a daughter of the late Richard and Mary Weimer. Karen graduated from Northrop High School. During her working years Karen worked for several factories including; Guardian Industries in Auburn. Karen's perfect morning was her coffee, eggs and bacon and talking with her family. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking, Bingo, and gardening. Her children always remember her walking around her home singing and sending the massive string of text messages prior to them even responding to one of them! Karen was an animal lover at heart. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends that knew her. Surviving are her children, Jennifer, April, Kristina and Angie Wegman, Mykel Curry; 12 grandchildren with one on the way; siblings, Melinda (Tom) Muntzinger, Richard Weimer, Matt Weimer; her beloved English Mastiff, Molly; and grand dog, Nova. Service is 1 pm, Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street with calling from 11 am until the services. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
