Karen Sue Stier, age 54, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, to the late Thomas Flynn and Jennifer Knepper, who survives. Karen worked over 20 years at the TowneHouse Retirement Community as a CNA. She enjoyed bowling and loved quiet time on her back porch. Karen is survived by her husband, Douglas Stier; children, Jeremy Smith, Joshua (Jenna) Stier, Jenna (Derrek) Eby, Mariah Stier, and Macy Stier; two grandchildren, Sophia and Ellie; siblings, Mike (Denise) Flynn, Ryan (Jenn) Knepper, Erica (Chad) Davids, and Amy (Scott) Zimmerman.; and step-mother, Regina Flynn. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Mark Knepper. A memorial gathering is 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
