Karen Lee Hinkle, 76, went to be with Jesus on Monday, November 29, 2021. She was born in Ashtabula, OH on December 3, 1944 to the late Milford and Carol Dodge. She moved to Fort Wayne in 1963 where she lived the rest of her years. Karen worked for Attorney, B. Neal Hayes for several years as a bookkeeper and office manager. She later worked for Attorney's Eilbacher & Scott in the same capacity. She semi-retired in 1998 driving cars for local dealerships which she really enjoyed. She loved to crochet, travel, play cards, spend time with family and friends and was an avid reader. She leaves behind her four children; Ronald (Renee) Hinkle of Cape Coral, FL, Kathleen Hinkle of Ft. Wayne, Jonathan (Brenda) Hinkle of New Haven, and Patrick Hinkle of Jeffersonville; her grandchildren that she adored, Zachary, Cory, Colton, Conner, Taylor, Alexander, Aria; two great grandchildren; Bryson and Mason. All Hinkle's. She's is also survived by three sisters; Jackie (Mark) Hazelett, Barbara Stevenson & Patricia Dodge. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Hinkle. Our Mother fought a brave and valiant fight against Alzheimer's. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend to so many. Service is 4 pm, Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church, 6600 Trier Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. She was a kind soul that loved with her whole heart. She will be greatly missed.
