Karen M "Ewald" Harter, 66, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, at her residence. Karen was born on June 21st, 1954 to John and Betty Ewald. She graduated from North Side High School. Upon her death she was retired from the Fort Wayne Newspaper.
Karen is survived by her children; Angela Taylor of Avilla, IN, Christopher Taylor of Orlando, FL; brothers, Joe (Lois) Ewald of New Haven, IN, Jim (Janice) Ewald of Fort Wayne, IN; granddaughter, Briana Taylor of Orlando, Fl; and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Linda; and a brother-in-law Andy. Private family services will be held and FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation is assisting the family.
