Judy A. Woods, age 77,  passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at her home in Fort Wayne, IN.  She was born in Marion, AL to her late mother, Mary Martin.  Judy retired from Mullinix Packages, INC after working there many years and making many friends.  She  was a faithful member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she particpated in Sunday School and the Woman's Missionary Group.  Judy was also a member of Church Women United, and the YMCA Silvers Sneakers.  Judy will be remembered as a loving mother, grandma, sister and a faithful friend.

Judy is survived by her three grandchildren, Tevin Woods, Dede Matthews, and Donovan Matthews;  two great-grandchildren, Tevin Jr. and Jamari;  and siblings, Bessie (Lane) Woods, David (Diana) Martin, Rebecca (Mack) Lewis, James Morgan, and Mary Etta Martin.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Sharon Woods and Rachel Matthews;  and her sister, Sally Russell.

Service is 12:00 pm, Friday, November 21, 2025 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 2421 S. Hanna St., with calling one hour prior beginning at 11:00 am.  Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens of Fort Wayne.
