Judith Arlene Vevia, age 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away in her home on March 2, 2025. Judith was born on November 20, 1932, to the late Rosena Cameron and James Vevia. After her time as a homemaker, Judith was an employee of Fort Wayne Community Schools for 25 years as a Custodian. Judith never missed a birthday or special date in history. She enjoyed reading novels, watching tv game shows, baseball, and dramas. Judith will be remembered for her love of reading novels, crossword puzzles, and collecting Grinch, Scooby Doo, and Disney memorabilia as well as painted birds. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, sons Robert Allen and Edward Charles, sisters Joyce Hannan and Jackie Feichter, brother James Vevia, and grandson Ian Leftakes. Judith is survived by children Donna (Richard) Brown, Will Hughes, John (Debra) Hughes, and Linda (Dino) Stone, sister Janice Study, and grandchildren Rich Brown, Jennifer (Chad) Jensen, Michah Hille, Faith Hille, Andrea (Shayne) Carroll, Elaina (Jason) Hughes, William Hughes, Brandi (Abdennour) Stone, Cecily (Josh) Mason , Nicholas ( Sabrina) Hughes and 16 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 5:00 pm with calling from 3:00 until the service at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton St.).
