Bonita "Joy" Hughes, 67, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio Joy was a daughter of the late Herbert and Helen Foster. Joy grew up and Nebraska and graduated from Columbus High School. Joy worked as a seamstress for multiple companies during her working years. She loved sewing and making crafts on canvas. Joy enjoyed watching crime shows on Netflix, going out to eat, and spending her time with her family and friends and cherished her pet dogs. She was an active member of Victory Life Church. Surviving are her children, Shane (Jamie) Hall, Adam Hall, Robin (Adam) Gass, Reni Hughes; step-children, Jeremiah (Amy) Hughes, Amanda Hughes; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jill Foster, and Jeff (Carol) Foster. Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hughes; and son, Greg Foster. Service is 2 pm, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Victory Life Church, with calling from 12 pm until the service. A graveside service will be 1 pm, Monday, April 3, 2023 in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pipe Hitter Foundation or Victory Life Church.
