Joy Ellen Bonifas, 78, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 in Fort Wayne. She was born in in Fort Wayne to the late Glenn and Opal Conkling. Joy loved to care for her family as a homemaker and later worked in retail. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Joy is survived by her children, Christopher Bonifas of Fort Wayne, and Heather Stroud of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Kelsie, Grant, and Miranda; and siblings, Linda (Bruce) Sharts and Glenn (Peg) Conkling.
