Williams
April 16, 1998 – March 2, 2025
Josie Ann Williams, 26, a loving mother, daughter, and sister, passed away on March 2, 2025 in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne on April 16,1998 to Darren A. Williams and April D. Wills, Josie was a graduate of Homestead High School and Indiana-Purdue University Indianapolis. Above all, Josie was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Jace. Her passion for nurturing and caring for others extended beyond her family, as she was a compassionate patient care tech at Parkview Hospital and a dedicated nursing student. Josie was also a cherished member of Emmanuel Community Church.
Josie's warmth and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her smile could brighten any room, and her heart overflowed with love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, we find comfort in remembering the love she so freely gave. May her spirit continue to shine through the lives she touched, and may she watch over her beloved son, Jace, and her sister, Jackie, as their guardian angel.
Josie is survived by her son, Jace Morehouse, age 5; father, Darren (Jeannine) Williams; mother, April (Glen) Wills; sister, Jackie Williams; maternal grandfather, Bobby Jackson; and paternal grandmother, Connie Williams, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends who loved her like family.
