Obituary

To our beloved, Joseph Htoo, took his last breath peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026 at the age of 16. He was born to Kae Blu Htoo and Hser Eh Paw in Atlanta, Georgia on April 7, 2010.

Joseph was a son, a brother, a friend, a leader and he was known for his smile, humour, generosity, kindness, and always fixing his hair even in serious situations. His kindness reached everyone he met — he never left without making someone smile. He was a student at Abundant Life Classical Academy and was known for bringing smiles to everyone around him. He enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball, guitar, and he found a lot of joy in boxing as well. Whenever he got into trouble, Joseph would often say, “You know in the Bible, Jesus said to forgive 77 times (Matt 18:22).” His humour and compassion made him a constant source of comfort to everyone who knew him. He has passion for everything that he does and strives to succeed even after he fails. But above all, He loves Jesus and he was a Child of God.

Joseph will no longer be with us, but he will forever dwell in our hearts and memories of him will forever be cherished. We love you Joseph, to the moon and back.

Joseph is survived by his parents, Kae Blu Htoo and Hser Eh Paw; siblings, Klo Kwe Moo, NawMartha Htoo (Du Law So), Hannah Hser (Kai Doh) Htoo, Lu Htar, Aster Paw; and several aunts, uncles, teachers, and friends.
