John Woodrow Reeder, 75, passed away surrounded by his daughters on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Born in Anderson, Indiana, he was the eldest son of the late Woodrow and Martha Reeder. John attended Highland High School and Ball State University. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War and then worked for the U.S. Post Office, retiring after 26 years. John had a special gift for playing the guitar, loved cars and planes, but loved his family more. Surviving are his daughters, Barbara Dye, Sandra (Brian) Reuille, Alana (Mark) Minx; grandchildren, Cierra (Richard) Wood, Zakkary (Gabbi) Cains, Samantha Dye, Jacob Minx, Darien Minx; great-grandchildren, Emeri Wood, Kayn Cains; and brother, Richard (Susie) Reeder. John was preceded in death by his siblings, Kenneth, Darrel and David Reeder. Calling is Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 12-4 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street.
