John "Johnny" David Munson, 56, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, October 19th, 2024. He was born on December 17th, 1967, a son of the late Kenneth Leroy Munson and Delores Ann Stier. He worked as a general laborer most his life, working at Halls at Glenbrook and as a bouncer. Scrapping metal was a hobby he also enjoyed. John was fond of cooking and playing cards. His sense of humor and chuckle will never be forgotten. John was an animal lover and held a special place in his heart for Rocky, Boomer & Sadie. He was a very easy going person who knew no stranger. His generosity surpassed his family & friends. John leaves behind close friends & family who were dear to his heart. Surviving family includes his estranged children; David, Joey, Tammy & a bonus child Johnathan Fromm. Siblings; Tammy (Donald) Munson-Walker, Mary (Scott) Fields, Joey, Briana (Christopher) Phillips, Cory Munson. Step-siblings; Robert, Mark, Sandy, Monica, Jeremy, Mark, Amanda, Anna & Joey. Bonus mothers; Mary May, Jill Munson & Laura Munson. Nieces; Cierra (Avant), Serena, Dora, Lynn, Kianna & Tawhana. Nephew; Brian. Aunts; Dawn of New Haven,IN, Rosie of Huntertown,IN, Jan (Steve) of Vincennes,IN & Carla (Ronald) of Red Boiling Springs,TN. Uncle; Dominic (Jane) of Monroeville,IN. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by grandparents; Donald Harold & Agnes Ilene Munson and Thomas & Romona Stier. Aunts; Carol, Judy, Sue & Linda. Uncles; Doug, Dan, Danny, Dennis, Donnie, DeWayne and Johnny. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N Clinton Street, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior.
