John Michael Mays, age 60, of Orlando, FL passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in West Palm Beach, FL and was the son to Hal Mays JR, who survives and the late Pamela Fowle. John worked 25 years as an electrical engineer for Smurfit Westrock. He enjoyed time on the boat shrimping, scalloping, and fishing. John will be remembered as a wonderful cook, and he loved spreading joy by decorating his house for Halloween and Christmas. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lisa Mays; daughters, Kyrstin Mays and Aubrey Mays; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Florida.
