Obituary
"Bob" John R. Knapp, 73, of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home. He was born in North Manchester on December 24, 1943 to the late Wilbur G. and Mildred (Arnold) Knapp. Bob was a U. S. Army veteran. He retired from Zollner Piston where he worked as a machinist.
Surviving are his wife, Jackie; children, Eric Howard; Angie (Nate) Hammel and Kirk (Jamie) Bengs; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 1 pm Friday, August 25, 2017 at Fairhaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton Street, calling one-hour prior. Chaplain Mike Smith officiating. Calling also from 4 pm – 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to his wife, Jackie Knapp.
